EastEnders fans have spotted a baby scan blunder after spoilers for this weeks' episodes were revealed.

On Wednesday, January 18, Whitney Dean will go to the hospital to have her first baby scan after falling pregnant with Zack Hudson's baby.

Overwhelmed to see her baby for the first time, Whitney heads to the hospital with a group of loved ones in tow.

In the snaps from Wednesday's instalment, Whitney can be seen joined by best pal Chelsea Fox, housemates Finlay and Felix Baker, and Sonia Fowler – her step-auntie.

But after seeing the snaps, fans are questioning why so many people have attended the scan appointment with Whitney.

Taking to an EastEnders spoilers group on Facebook, one fan questioned why there were so many people gathered around the mum-to-be.

"In real life she wouldn't of been allowed that many people in with her for her scan," penned one.

Someone then replied: "It's TV lol," to which someone else said: "I know but you'd think they'd make it a bit more realistic though lol. I think it's only her first scan lol."

"My thoughts exactly! Even before covid! Oh, and no masks anywhere either…." noted another.

In response, an EastEnders fan then asked: "Are people still forced to wear masks in England or is it just the hospital?"

To which someone replied: "Medical settings, for appointments, visiting, etc."

Elsewhere in the episode, which will air on Wednesday night, father-to-be Zack – who recently found out that he is HIV positive – is desperate to know the results of the baby's tests.

He then asks Whitney's step-auntie Sonia, which gets back to Whitney, who wonders if she should give him another chance.

Waiting for a text from the clinic, Whitney is nervous and Zack offers to support her as she opens it.

But Whitney soon tells Zack that it's best if he keeps his distance.
