EastEnders fans ‘work out’ Emma isn’t Lola’s mum as they ‘expose’ identity twist

EastEnders fans believe newcomer Emma Harding isn't actually Lola Pierce's biological mother.

The newcomer, played by Patsy Kensit, made her first appearance on the square last month and was hiding behind the alias of Nicole.

It wasn't long before Lola discovered Emma was her mother and she is now determined to make the most of the time she has left with her daughter after learning she has an incurable brain tumour.

But after missing half of Lexi's presentation in a recent episode, Lola told Emma that she needs to cut down on spending time with her.

But it seems Emma isn't willing to let go of her new found family as she left Lexi a secret message in a locket.

After telling the youngster the locket was their "secret" when Lola's back was turned, Lexi opened it and discovered a number inside.

While fans have predicted something sinister surrounds Emma, they also believe she could be lying about who she really is in a bid to get close to Lola.

"I don't think she's Lola's mum. She's definitely hiding something," speculated one viewer.

A second claimed: "She's not Lola's mother," as another questioned: "Are we even sure if she is definitely Lola's mum?"

This has stemmed from the theory that Emma is going to kidnap Lexi after Lola dies.

Taking to social media with their theories, one person wrote: "Yeah Emma is definitely gonna kidnap Lexi after Lola’s death".

"The way Emma whispered in Lexi's ear just then was very suspicious. I think Emma will kidnap Lexi at some point," echoed a second.

Another added: "Emma is defo gonna kidnap Lexi to get her away from the Mitchells #EastEnders."

Patsy, 54, confirmed she has completed filming for her guest role of Emma in the BBC soap.

The star penned a lengthy statement on Instagram, thanking various members of the cast including Jamie Borthwick, Danielle Harold, and Emma Barton for making her experience on the soap so memorable.
