EastEnders Lacey Turner gushes over amazing Lily star after tough storyline
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner couldn't speak higher of her on-screen daughter as she continues with a hard-hitting storyline.
At the beginning of the year, Stacey Slater discovered her 12-year-old Lily Slater, played by Lillia Turner, was pregnant.
The father was later revealed as Sam Mitchell and Jack Branning's son, Ricky Jr and after much deliberation, Lily decided she wanted to continue with her pregnancy.

Discussing working with the young actress during the hard-hitting storyline, Lacey, 34, gushed over her co-star.
"Oh she’s amazing! She is such a talented young actress," Lacey said. "She just has this incredible and natural instinct to react which, I feel is really rare, but she just has it."
Lacey, who has played Stacey since 2004, added: “She’s so clever and makes really good choices as an actress. She challenges me too which is lovely, it’s nice to have a challenge.
“When we’re working together it sort of feels like real life. You forget you’re acting.”
Alongside dealing with Lily wanting to keep her baby, Stacey is trying her best to make ends meet as she struggles with financial issues during the cost of living crisis.
Touching upon her character's money troubles, Lacey assured that Stacey will do whatever she can to protect her children.
The actress explained: “She’s not a quitter, so she’ll keep trying and keep going until she physically can’t do anymore.
"I think for her, as long as her kids have eaten, they’re warm and they’re clothed, then she’s happy and everything else doesn’t really matter."
In upcoming scenes, Stacey is on the hunt for extra work and asks Linda for a part-time shift at The Vic.
When Linda declines, Jean secures additional cleaning work for them both.
But the extra work takes its toll on an exhausted Stacey and she accidently scolds her hand when she rushes to open the bap van.
Later, Stacey has a heart-to-heart with Sonia about her mum-guilt and money struggles.
