EastEnders lines up heartbreaking scenes for Jay and Lola as they make huge decision

Latest EastEnders spoilers show Jay and Lola spend a special day together at the seaside as the latter heartbreakingly faces the final months of her life.

With Lola having to leave her job at the salon because of her terminal cancer diagnosis, Kim organises a leaving karaoke party for her. But the day becomes too much for Lola and she retreats outside.

When Denise, Honey and Kathy realise Lola is missing, they start looking for her. But it’s Billy who finds Lola confused and on the floor outside the gym.

After bringing Lola home, matters only get worse when her speech and mobility becomes impaired.

Later on, Lola wakes up in hospital with Ben, Jay and Billy by her side. The doctors tell Lola the devastating news that her palliative chemotherapy treatment hasn’t worked.

Seeing Lola distraught over her diagnosis, Jay breaks his new wife out of hospital. He makes a run for it and takes Lola out for a day at the seaside.

On their travels, Lola spots a ruby necklace she wants to get for Lexi as a 16th birthday present. And it seems Lola can't keep out of trouble as later on, the police and the shopkeeper stop her as it transpires she stole the jewellery.

Will Lola and Jay’s last day out end in disaster?

After the break-in at The Vic, Elaine and Linda get back on track and Elaine is an instant hit with the men in Walford as she charms them with free drinks.

Elaine’s convinced Nish was one who trashed the pub, and after talking to Suki, her suspicions are confirmed.

Later, Elaine and Linda talk about losing Mick. But it appears Elaine could be up to no good as she makes a mysterious phone call asking someone to move into the pub with her.

The new co-owner also sets about getting rid of Alfie, but can Linda be persuaded to let him go?

Meanwhile, money troubles spiral out of control for the Slaters as the bailiffs arrive to clear Stacey out of her house.

Martin offers his help, but Stacey insists she can deal with it herself. The whole family gets involved and Freddie comes up with an idea to get more customers over to the bap van.

Freddie is a success, but Stacey becomes distracted by an offer from a Secret Cam. She contemplates taking it, and Eve returns home to find Stacey all dolled up.

Problems continue to mount up for Stacey as she learns Lily is bullying a girl at school. Martin takes struggling Stacey for a picnic in the park where they share a heart-to-heart and Martin unknowingly gives Stacey the reassurance she needs.

Meanwhile in Albert Square, Vinny is conflicted between his parents’ expectations of him. Callum encourages Ben to make amends with Lola, Kim becomes overwhelmed by anxiety and Sonia steps in to examine Pearl.
