Emmerdale: Caleb tells Leyla he has children

Emmerdale businessman Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) has been secretly working with his son, Nicky (Lewis Cope) in a bid to take down Kim Tate (Claire King).

Caleb, who is also the son of Frank Tate (Norman Bowler), has gone into business with Kim so he can take everything away from her.

As part of their plan, Nicky proposed to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and has been faking a relationship with her this entire time.

He has been pushing the mum-of-one to set a date for their wedding, so that he will be entitled to her shares of Kim’s business.

In a bizarre twist, Caleb has started a relationship with Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and during a heart-to-heart, he told her he had children.

However, following recent scenes in the ITV soap, fans have been coming up with their own theories about how Nicky and Caleb will be exposed.

Nicky maybe forced to come clean about who is really is after his old friend, Ally (Josh Horrocks) arrived in the village.

The pair have also shared a kiss behind Gabby’s back, but viewers seem to think Ally could lead to more trouble for Nicky.

One eagle-eyed fans even suggested it could also lead to the arrival of Caleb’s secret daughter.

The viewer, who shared their wild theory on an Emmerdale fan forum page, pointed out that Nicky previously told Kim he had five siblings.

They wrote: “How many kids do you think Caleb and his wife have when Nicky was interviewed for nanny position he said he had five siblings possibly part of his cover but could it be the truth.

“I’d like one of Caleb’s kids to be introduced and them not be on board with Caleb and Nicky plan.”

Another fan replied: “I remember one time when Nicky and Caleb were talking Caleb mentioned him (Nicky) having a sister but at no other time has he mentioned her.

“Nicky keeps talking about Caleb saving the house for his mother so the daughter must not live with her so she’s over 18. What age is Nicky? So I’d say he has two children, a boy and a girl. I think Nicky’s five siblings is part of his lie.”

A third Emmerdale fan suggested Caleb’s ex-wife could be called Adrian.

They theorised: “Adrian is someone close to Caleb because they know about his ‘take Kim’s money plan’ but I wonder if they know about the Nicky-Gabby part.

“I would not be comfortable knowing a friend made his son sleep with a woman so he could get her money. That’s weird.

“I think Adrian is either Nicky’s mother or a fake name for someone known to us (viewers) as someone else. Adrian is a common boy’s name but it is also a girl’s name. They got clever not putting Nicky’s surname in the credits. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the mysterious Adrian is a woman.”
