Emmerdale's Georgia Sharma is set to return to the soap as she reunites with son Jai and ex-husband Rishi.
Georgia, previously played by Trudie Goodwin, was last seen departing the village in 2015 after four years, leaving behind her estranged family.
The role has now been recast to EastEnders star Lin Blakley, with her comeback tying in with the recent DNA bombshell.

Georgia's return also leads Rishi to reveal the identity of Jai's real father which results in a heated argument between the trio.
With Georgia's arrival looming, Daily Star has looked back at where orginal actress Trudie is now.
The Bill exit
Aside from Emmerdale, Trudie is best known for starring as sergeant June Ackland in The Bill for more than two decades.
She was one of the longest-serving members of the ITV police drama cast, appearing on the show from its first episode in 1983 until 2005.
Speaking on her choice to leave, the ITV star previously said: "The years have flown by. I've had a brilliant time on The Bill.
"I don't regret my decision to stay for so long for a second. But it's time to move on."
It was reported that Elly was also a factor in Trudie's decision to leave famous cop drama, as her not attending university lifted a heavy financial burden off the actress.
The Bill was axed in 2010 and the decision came as a shock to Trudie, who blamed it on the producers who “messed about” with it unnecessarily.
Famous daughter
Trudie, 71, has been married to Kit Jackson since 1979 and the couple share two daughters, Jessica and Elly Jackson.
Elly, the youngest of the two, is the lead singer, songwriter and sole member of La Roux, formerly a synthpop duo.
The Grammy award-winning singer is best known for producing hit singles like For The Kill and Bulletproof.
The 35-year-old released her third album, Supervision, independently in 2020.
Trudie revealed that both of her daughters pursued a career in music and explained the inspiration came from her husband.
She previously told the Daily Record: “It’s very strange. She’s a lot more famous than I am because she is known worldwide. We had no expectations of them performing.
"But both of my daughters are musicians and songwriters. Music has always been a massive part of their life, not through me but through my husband. He is an actor but also an extremely good musician."
ITV return
In 2021, it was reported that The Bill was making its triumphant return to screens, with a selection of original cast members returning with it.
Trudie was amongst those in talks about reprising their roles, alongside Graham Cole and Mark Wingett who portrayed Tony Stamp and Jim Carver.
According to The Sun, it was understood that the original stars were approached by writer Simon Sansome who had allegedly acquired the rights to the series.
10 months later, an insider told the publication that UKTV was in the early stages of developing a new version of the show.
"'In the minds of many producers and execs, The Bill is a drama which is just sitting, waiting, to be rebooted," the insider said.
They added: "It's a simple format but one which attracted a loyal army of followers who would be delighted to see it return.
"No doubt any new incarnation would be tweaked to make it attract a whole new generation to the show."
The reboot was rumoured to hit screens in 2023 and it is unclear where it currently stands.
