Prior to giving birth to Betty, Michelle talked to OK! magazine about one day meeting their donor.
She explained: “When Teddy is 18 he can find out who his dad is and we’d massively back him.
“I’d love to meet him just to say, ‘Thank you so much for allowing us to be parents and giving us the most beautiful little boy’.”
While the extension of their family is welcome news, it also means a departure from the village.

It has been revealed that Michelle’s character Vanessa will be leaving Emmerdale next week.
She is going to be offered a new job in Canada after the revelation that Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) bought Jamie Tate’s (Alex Lincoln) share of the vets.
This came with part of the contract stating that Kim will receive 15 percent off her future veterinary bills.
Initially, Michelle thinks that she will be jetting off to Canada with her girlfriend Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) by her side.
But when she finds her and Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi) alone together, she believes Suzy is taking drugs again.
Despite receiving proof from Leyla that this wasn’t the case, the damage has been done.
The couple decides to end their romance for good and Vanessa has a leaving party.
In real life, Michelle is on maternity leave so it is thought that she will be returning to the soap sometime in the future.
Emmerdale is available to watch on ITV and ITVX.
