Emmerdale’s Mary Goskirk’s romance heats up after dating setback
Emmerdale: Caleb catches Nicky and Gabby together
Emmerdale’s Mary Goskirk (played by Louise Jameson) has been through a rocky time in the dating game, with some dates ending terribly. However, the villager seems to have found some common ground with newcomer Faye (Jane Gurnett) and the pair look ready to move their relationship to the next level.
ITV soap spoilers have revealed, as Faye and Mary open up to one another and become more comfortable, Mary impulsively moves in for a kiss.
Her impulsion pays off as Faye’s left delighted and kisses her back.
However, Mary and Faye both start worrying about their upcoming date with each other.
Later on, Faye is convinced Mary has stood her up but the truth of the matter is the latter has just drifted off to sleep.
They manage to work through the setback and meet each other for the date.
As soon as the date is in full swing, smitten Mary summons all her courage, and invites Faye up to the bedroom.
Will Faye turn down Mary’s advances or are they both on the same wavelength?
Will the women continue seeing each other and bonding more in the coming weeks?
Emmerdale fans have been wondering where they recognised Faye’s face from since her ITV soap debut.
Faye actress Jane has been on screens since the 1980s and is probably best known for her role as Rachel Longworth in Casualty.
The star has also appeared in Dangerfield, Crossroads, Birds of a Feather, The Royal, Peak Practice as well as A Touch of Frost.
More recently, she portrayed Verity Foster in Doctors and landed a role in Shakespeare and Hathaway: Private Investigators.
