Emmerdale’s Sandra destroys a drunk Liv as she empties her account?

Emmerdale’s Sandra Flaherty (Joanne Mitchell) is a right old rotten egg who has had the sole purpose of destroying Liv (Isobel Steele) in recent weeks, and sadly it looks like she’s about to get what she’s been after.

Things are escalating quickly when Vinny (Bradley Johnson) sees that Mill Cottage is for sale. Liv and Sandra arrive back from holiday and Vinny immediately confronts Liv about not consulting him over the house sale.

Meanwhile, Sandra is rubbing her hands with glee as she sees the couple’s relationship further unravelling thanks to her handy work.

The next day, Sandra meets with Terry in yet another secret meeting and it’s clear they are taking this ruse to the next level.

Mandy (Lisa Riley) takes Vinny by surprise by insisting his issues with Liv are being driven by Sandra, but she has a plan to make it right. What has she got up her sleeve?

Vinny later approaches Liv with his tail between his legs and asks for forgiveness and Liv is thrilled to see this change in him. They make moves to reconcile with a plan to head to Spain together.

Mandy exacts the next part of her plan, getting Jimmy to feign interest in buying the house.

It’s all in a bid to set Sandra up, but she doesn’t bite and instead it backfires when Liv discovers he’s tried to trick her mum. Things go from bad to worse when she kicks him out, leaving Vinny devastated and Sandra to play the doting mother picking up the pieces.

At home, Sandra pretends to be shocked to discover Liv has fallen off the wagon but is secretly doing cartwheels inside as this plays right into her hands. Drunk Liv is slowly becoming more out of control and as she does, she lets slip about her savings account.

On hearing this, Sandra sees pound signs and plies Liv with more booze in a bid to get her to pass out and leave her stash of money vulnerable for the taking. Liv starts to lose consciousness giving Sandra the perfect opportunity, and she pounces.

Is Liv about to wake up and learn her own mum has ransacked her account and destroyed her life?
