Faith in Emmerdale heartbroken by latest trauma as cancer takes hold
Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) has been determined to live life to the fullest following her cancer diagnosis in Emmerdale, but tonight she was forced to accept the devastating reality of her situation.
Heading into the café before school, Kyle (Huey Quinn) was intrigued when he overheard Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Faith talking about a chameleon in the vets.
Paddy reminded Kyle and Sarah (Katie Hill) that they’re not really allowed to see animals in the practice – which gave Faith an idea.
Taking her grandchildren out of school, Faith led Kyle and Sarah into the backroom of the pub and unveiled her surprise – the chameleon!
Soon enough, things descended into chaos as Faith, Kyle and Sarah realised the reptile had escaped from the cage.
In the pub, meanwhile, Al (Michael Wildman) noticed the chameleon showing quite a bit of interest in his lunch!
With Paddy taking the lizard back to the vets, Faith sat down with Chas and Cain (Jeff Hordley), who told her that she was taking many risks during her attempt at impressing Sarah and Kyle.
While Sarah and Kyle enjoyed time with their gran, both Chas and Cain told their mum that she could’ve had a seizure, one of the children could’ve ended up in danger, not to mention the fact Kyle shouldn’t have been taken out of school.
The siblings gently reminded their mum that she can see the children – of course! But she isn’t well enough to look after them on her own anymore.
While Faith accepted the decision, it just served as a reminder to her that eventually, everything she has will slip from her grasp.
