GB News guest says Phil Schofield changed in front of me with on-screen ambush
Jim Davidson claims Phillip Schofield changed before his eyes
Jim Davidson, 69, opened up about his first-hand experience with Phillip Schofield on This Morning, calling the ITV presenter “two-faced” in a scathing attack.
GB News host Dan Wootton asked Jim what he thought of Phil, with the comedian saying: “I did say I wasn’t supporting Phillip Schofield, but he should not be punished for the sins of his brother – and I still believe that.”
Timothy Schofield was recently jailed for 12 years after being convicted of sexually abusing a teenage boy over the space of three years.
“However, it doesn’t stop the fact that Phillip is a two-faced…” Jim alleged before the sound cut off.
The comic claimed Phil was kind to him when he appeared on This Morning to talk about his time on the reality show Hell’s Kitchen.
Jim claimed: “[Phillip] said, ‘I thought you were great on Hell’s Kitchen, I don’t care what people say.’ I’m ever so pleased you’re here.
“Then we came out of a commercial break, and cue Phillip, [who said], ‘And now we have controversial comedian Jim Davidson.’
“He turned to me with a face like thunder and said, ‘Why were you behaving in such a homophobic way to this man [on Hell’s Kitchen]?’
“And on he went – talk about change just like this!”

Dan claimed Phil is “very different” when he is off camera than when he is presenting.
Jim alleged: “Yeah, he changed like that, he absolutely changed like that and was awful, staring right through me.
“I’ve never seen anything quite like it, but I have broad shoulders and I just plodded on.”
Express.co.uk has contacted Phil’s representative for comment.
Phil issued a statement on Saturday announcing he was leaving This Morning after more than two decades at the show’s helm.
“Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind,” he said.
“I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.”
Dan Wooton Tonight airs on weeknights at 9pm on GB News and This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am.
