Gemma Owen and Luca Bish pack on PDA on the street before Love Island reunion
Gemma Owen and Luca Bish were spotted cuddling up on the streets of London hours before the Love Island Reunion show aired.
The couple finished as runners-up on the 2022 series of the ITV2 dating show, missing out on the £50,000 prize to Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
But while some islanders have cooled off their relationship since leaving the intensity of the villa, Gemma, 19, and Luca, 23, are clearly as strong as ever.
Gemma, who is the daughter of footballer Michael Owen, and fishmonger Luca were seen in an embrace in the capital on Sunday, hours ahead of the Love Island: The Reunion airing on ITV2.
The pair looked smart as they cuddled in the sunshine, Gemma in dark sunglasses and carrying a glamorous white handbag.
She dressed casually in a pink blouse and skipped skinny jeans, finishing the look with white open-toed sandals and silver bracelets on her wrists.
Luca meanwhile went for a dark look, in a black long-sleeved top, black trousers and white sandals.
Snaps of the pair see them holding on to each other, Gemma’s hands on Luca’s hips, the Brighton lad wrapping his arms around her neck as they went in for a kiss.
At one point they were seen getting close in the back of a car, with a grinning Luca leaning into Gemma as she took his face in her hands.
It appeared the two were off in their own little world, with Luca unable to look away as they gazed into each other’s eyes.
And even as he appeared to notice the camera at one point, the former Islander brushed it off and carried on puckering up to his girlfriend.
The pair were at one point joined by Gemma’s mum Louise, with Luca earning brownie points as he carried a heavy-looking Selfridges shopping bag under his arm.
As well as mum Louise, the new celebrity couple were joined by friends as they explored the capital ahead of the eagerly-anticipated reunion.
And seems their actions align with their words, with Gemma going on to tell viewers during tonight’s reunion of her feelings for Luca: ‘I like him so much more now, these last few days my feelings have gone [up].’
The show was shot on Thursday but is airing tonight, with fans desperately awaiting to see what new drama – if any – is unveiled.
Hosted by Laura Whitmore, the special reunion episode will feature most of the Islanders from series eight including Summer Botwe and Coco Lodge, who reportedly began arguing over Josh Le Grove during filming.
However, a show source has told Metro.co.uk that the argument is ‘unlikely to be shown’ on the pre-recorded show when it airs.
They added that this was because ‘it didn’t relate to anything from their time in the Villa.’
That’s not all however, as loved-up Gemma and Luca were seen looking glum after the filming, with Luca reportedly telling a photographer she was ‘in a right hump’ with him.
Despite the apparent falling-out, things looked to be back to normal within a few days with Luca publicly inviting the famous teenager to visit him in his hometown.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Luca tagged horse-mad Gemma in a video showing him outdoors in the countryside with two gorgeous horses.
He captioned the post: ‘Am I selling Brighton to you yet @gemmaowen_1?’
