Home and Away Felicity star’s cosy home life with co-star Matt Evans
For nearly two years, Jacqui Purvis has been playing firecracker Felicity Newman on the iconic Aussie soap Home and Away.
The blonde bombshell has been a firm favourite with Summer Bay fans since joining the Channel 5 show in 2021.
Although the show’s residents have turbulent and heated relationships at times, behind-the-scenes it appears things are a lot different.

Jacqui struck up such a good friendship with one of her co-stars that she’s moved in with them.
In 2021, she revealed that she had moved in with co-star Matt Evans, who plays Theo Poulos – and the two are still living with each other.
Here Daily Star star takes a look at life with Jacqui and Matt at their downtown Aussie pad.
Jacqui and Matt ‘having a blast’
Jacqui and Matt became roomies back in 2021 with the blonde beauty revealing the news to TV Week.
Speaking to the publication, Jacqui gushed over her co-star: “Matt Evans and I are having a blast being roommates. He is one of my favourite people in the whole world."
Their living arrangement came about after Jacqui, who was sofa-surfing at the time, met Matt on his first day – which coincided with a Christmas party later that day.
At the soap’s festive do the pair floated around the idea of moving in together and two weeks later, they locked it in.
Jacqui and Matt’s stylish Aussie apartment
The two first shared a place in Sydney’s south-east but have since relocated to the coastal suburb of Coogee.
In a recent interview with Australia'sTV Weekmagazine Jacqui and Matt let the cameras into their typical twenty-something’s apartment.
Inside, bursts of retro art can be seen as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and a plush grey corner sofa.
The two have also shared sweets snaps on Instagram of their home – while commemorating their friendship.
In August 2021, Jacqui threw Matt a birthday party complete with presents, balloons and cards.
Jacqui’s biggest pet peeve living with Matt
Of course, Jacqui and Matt’s millennial sanctuary is not complete with house plants.
But according to Jacqui, her roomie keeps killing them – much to her annoyance.
“He kills them all – it's probably my biggest peeve,'' she says with a laugh.
Despite this, the two say they have never had a bad experience sharing an apartment.
“We've never actually discussed our living situation or house rules. We clean up after ourselves and we don't even have to talk about it,” Matt said.
''If there's ever a problem, we either get it all out in the open or we just pretend like it never happened.''
Matt ‘doesn’t fall in love easily’
Despite their current living situation, Jacqui and Matt are not a couple and their relationship is purely platonic.
And it seems love is not on Aussie hunk Matt’s radar right now.
Matt, who is a singer-songwriter and appeared on The Voice in 2020, told The Daily Telegraph :There is nobody on the horizon at the moment.”
“I do write a lot of love songs, which is funny because I haven't had many girlfriends and I don't really fall in love very easily,” he said.
