Hospitalised Jenny in Coronation Street fears Glenda deliberately injured her
Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) in Coronation Street starts to wonder if there’s more to Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) than her usual fun and sunny outlook on life.
Getting settled into her new job at the pub, Glenda jumps at the chance of being quiz host and arrives for her shift dressed to the nines.
Annoyingly, for Glenda, she then discovers Jenny is feeling much better in the aftermath of Leo (Joe Frost) going missing and decides to host the quiz after all.
However, when Jenny slips on Glenda’s newly mopped floor, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) insists on taking her to A&E, leaving a pleased Glenda to grab the mic and take over.
Back home from the hospital, Jenny spends the rest of the day resting her sprained ankle and is put out to hear how successful Glenda’s quiz night was.
Suspicious over the newcomer, Jenny tells Daisy that she believes Glenda orchestrated the entire event, but did she?
We know Glenda is always up for a laugh and has so far only really annoyed Eileen (Sue Cleaver) due to the sheer contrast in personalities, but is there really a dark side to the new face?
If Jenny’s emotions are all over the place due to Leo’s disappearance, perhaps she is overthinking this incident?
