I thought Zach would leave with me – Ill wait for him on the outside, says Molly Marsh
Love Island star Molly Marsh has spoken out about her time on the ITV2 show just days after being dumped from the villa, saying she “wait” for fellow contestant Zachariah Noble outside of the programme.
The TV personality is the most recent contestant to leave the infamous Love Island villa after the arrival of former Love Island star Kady McDermott left her single – and therefore vulnerable.
After arriving as a bombshell, Kady was left to couple up with a boy of her choosing and opted to enter into a couple with Zach despite him previously being in a partnership with Molly.
21 year old Molly then received a text message which informed her that because she was single, she’d be leaving the island as a result.
And now, speaking out about her time in the villa, social media sensation Molly has said that while she didn’t expect Kady to make the decision, she would have done the same, though it made her “heart drop”.
She said: “Seeing Kady and Zach standing in front of me together, my heart dropped. I just didn’t want to see it but I understood it needed to happen and I trust in the timing of the universe and everything happening for a reason.”
“So I knew it was clearly my time to go and if something good will come from me and Zach then it still will. If he finds something with Kady then that’s that.”
After hearing the news that she’d be leaving the show, Molly added that part of her wanted Zach to leave with her, though explained that he’s on his own Love Island journey.
“I would have loved him to have come back with me and come home. But I understand he needs to stay and see what’s right and hopefully we carry on at home when he does leave,” she said.
The reality star added that she’s ready to wait for Zach on the outside to see how things between them carry on as she hoped that things between them would progress.
“I wish I’d spoken to Zach to say, ‘I’ll be waiting. I really want this to carry on.’ But no words could come out of my mouth. I was so speechless!,” she added.
Following her shock dumping from the villa on Friday’s episodes, viewers have speculated whether Molly will actually exit the show for good and some have taken to social media to share their opinions.
One theory among fans is that Molly will actually return to the show as part of the upcoming and highly anticipated Casa Amor twist.
“I wonder will they put Molly into a second Villa, I feel it could be a different twist to Casa?!?!?!?! #LoveIsland, “ speculated one fan on Twitter.
A second viewer was also convinced Molly would be making a return as they wrote: “Me not getting too excited bc Molly is definitely going to come back and somehow win the season. #LoveIsland.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
