IAC’s Charlene lashes out at Ant McPartlin as she suddenly quits tense trial

Charlene White snapped at Ant McPartlin as she failed to succeed in the latest Bushtucker Trial and screamed "I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!"

The ITV newsreader and Loose Women star followed Babatunde Aleshe this series in quitting a trial before it really started.

She was forced take part in Watery Grave alongside Boy George. Charlene and Boy George arrived at the Trial clearing and Dec asked Charlene why she thought the public had chosen her.

Charlene said: “Probably because this was my worst nightmare… I suspect it involves us being underground…”.

As Charlene struggled to even get her head under the water, Ant pointed out she needed to move onto the next star as she finally managed to push one towards Boy George.

She shouted: "I know that Anthony!" leaving Ant stunned as he quietly mimicked her to Dec.

Just moments later, Charlene was forced to say the famous words "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!" to end the trial.

She and Boy George were forced to head back to camp with the two stars, with Charlene gutted that she hadn't managed to fare better in the challenge

However, Charlene isn't the only celebrity in the jungle to have to forfeit a trial, as Babatunde also had to quit his first trial earlier this month.

When the series started, Babatunde quit the trial The Ledge, however Charlene completed this one where she stood on a ledge 32 storeys above the Gold Coast alongside Jill Scott.

Having been so brave on The Ledge trial on her way into camp with Jill Scott, the Loose Women star was unable to tackle this test underground and was left visibly upset.
