I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were unimpressed with the famous contestants who were unable to be voted for the next Bushtucker Trial. Much to fans dismay, Mike Tindall, Sue Cleaver and Boy George couldn’t be selected to take part in Horrifying Heights. On day two in the jungle, Babatunde Aléshé was nominated by ITV viewers to do the daunting challenge.
On Monday’s episode, fans on social media were unhappy how three of the most recognisable names in the jungle were able to dodge the public vote.
@Johnyhoohah tweeted: “Why have people in who are exempt from certain trials?”
Jo Conway wrote: “Why are all these people exempt from the trials? What a joke!”
@HiHunItsMarty asked: “Why must Boy George be exempt from a challenge right after being incredibly annoying.”

Claire Unwin added: “Why do they go on this show and then claim to be exempt from ALL of the trials.”
@Chloe_Moves_90 penned: “Really annoys me when more than half the campmates are exempt, what’s the point.”
@Katess89 joked: “At Least when Matt comes in noone will have to worry about doing the trials #ImACeleb.”
The three celebrities’ reasoning behind their exemption was understandably not shared for confidentiality reasons.
An unforgiving general public voted for Babatunde to go ahead with the latest terrifying trial, after he was unable to complete the opening trial.
On the launch night of the show, alongside Jill Scott and Charlene White, he was asked to “walk the plank” while suspended on top of a skyscraper in Australia.
He was the first famous name to utter words: “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” when he decided he couldn’t take any more.
Viewers will have to wait until Tuesday night to see if the star will go ahead with this latest test.
Olivia Attwood was another celebrity who was exempt for the vote after her sudden removal from the camp.
She was seen completing the first Bushtucker Trial of the series with Boy George, Scarlette Douglas and Chris Moyles.
Sadly for Olivia, 24 hours into her I’m A Celebrity stint, she was then asked to leave the camp on medical grounds.
At the beginning of Monday night’s show, presenters Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin delivered the news.
Dec explained: “Unfortunately, Olivia Attwood has left the jungle for medical reasons and sadly won’t be returning.”
Ant added: “Now, she does feature in tonight’s show, which was filmed before she had to leave. We’re very sad to see her go and we wish her well.“
Her team also opened up on the Love Island star’s reaction to her two million Instagram followers, posting: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement.”
They added: “You will hear the truth from Olivia in due course and she will be back on your screens in the New Year.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! airs daily from 9pm on ITV.
