I’m A Celebrity start date and time finally confirmed as stars land in Australia
ITV has confirmed the new series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will begin on Sunday November 6 at 9pm.
The show’s official Twitter account shared an image of a sign announcing the news with the caption: “Mark your calendars… the countdown is on!”
This announcement comes as this year's contestants have begun to land in Australia as they prepare to enter the jungle.
The series will kick off with a 105 minute special on 6 November at 9pm.
Although the date of the show was leaked a week ago, ITV bosses today revealed their full listings for the weekend when the new series begins.
The series will kick off two weeks earlier than in 2021, and on the opening show, the campmates will all explain why they have signed up.
Ant and Dec are then poised to set a series of challenges for them to make their way into the jungle camp near the town of Murwillumbah in New South Wales.
Campmates already confirmed to be in the show and isolating in Australia include Love Island's Olivia Attwood, DJ Chris Moyles and soap stars Sue Cleaver and Owen Warner.
Before the opening show, which runs from 9pm-10.45pm there will also be more jungle fun and games with a The Masked Singer – I'm A Celebrity special. That show, which kicks off at 7.30pm, is hosted by former I'm A Celeb contestant Joel Dommett.
Last year's I'm A Celebrity was held in Gwrych Castle in North Wales and was won by Emmerdale star Danny Miller. This year's show is expected to last three weeks and is beginning earlier than normal because of the football World Cup.
