I’m A Celeb’s Fatima Whitbread teases new TV project with pal Carol Vorderman

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Fatima Whitbread MBE has teased a new TV project with pal Carol Vorderman.

The dynamic duo have grown close after appearing on I'm A Celebrity… South Africa together recently.

Lorraine Kelly welcomed the Olympian onto her talk show on Monday (May 15) to open up about her experience taking part in th gruelling reality show.

Conversation quickly turned to her friendship with former Countdown star Carol Vorderman after it was revealed that the pair shared a bed together while in camp.

Fatima told Lorraine: "It was an amazing experience with Carol, we were up six in the morning training."

"We'd love to do a programme together going around in a campervan. We could do some extreme challenges together. Girl power."

Lorraine agreed with the ITV and offered to flag the idea to television producers.

Fatima came third place on I'm A Celebrity… South Africa with Myleene Klass taking home the crown.

After each episode, Carol went on Instagram Live and discussed the programme with fans watching at home.

The maths whizz made rather cheeky confession about her bedroom antics with athlete Fatima during one clip.

With a cheeky smile, Carol told her followers: "Fatima is one of the few people who can say that we slept together."

She then mused: "How many nights did we sleep together Fats?" referring to her co-star who was watching the Instagram Live.

"Was it two or three? I can’t remember," she added.

Fatima first appeared on I'm A Celebrity back in 2011 and Carol made her debut on the show in 2016.

The pair were both asked to return for the all-stars series alongside the likes of Gillian McKeith, Helen Flanagan and Jordan Banjo.

Myleene was revealed as the first-ever I'm A Celebrity Legend after beating off stiff competition from her campmates.

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX on 9pm
