Im A Celebs Scarlette Douglas terrifying fear ahead of entering jungle
I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Scarlette Douglas has revealed the creatures she most fears to meet in the jungle – creepy-crawly spiders.
The A Place In The Sun presenter, 35, said handling one of the eight-legged critters "makes my palms go sweaty" as she prepares to enter the camp in Australia, with Bushtucker Trials looming.
She explained: “Spiders are my absolute worst fear. I think I can deal with the rest of it if I am honest but it is just the way spiders move that is what is going to freak me out… and cockroaches!"

Scarlette added: “Even you telling me about me holding one makes my palms go sweaty! I don’t like spiders at all – the tiny ones I can deal with but if they are any bigger than a 5p piece I am out of there.”
However Scarlette is determined not to leave the I'm A Celebrity camp by saying "Get me out of here", saying: “I really don’t want to, I just want to be able to face my fear and go for it.
"I am quite headstrong enough to know that nothing can kill me and it can only make me stronger so hopefully I won’t say that.”
She will be up against fellow celebrities such as the singer Boy George, former rugby ace Mike Tindall and radio presenter Chris Moyles, as well as the politician Matt Hancock.

The former health secretary surprised the nation after he was confirmed to be one of the newest additions to the star-studded cast set to join the hugely popularITV reality show this weekend.
He is believed to be receiving £400,000 to appear, but it was previously reported that Mr Hancock would be donating a chunk of his earning to St Nicholas Hospice Care in Suffolk, a charity he raised almost £8,000 for a last year’s London Marathon.
