JANE McDonald broke down in tears during the first episode of her new travel series, On Safari with Jane McDonald.
The Yorkshire lass returned to screens last night in the new Channel 5 show – which saw her explore Kenya.
Jane, 60,experienced her first safari and got the opportunity to learn about the vibrant culture of Kenyan's
But things soon took an emotional turn when she got the once in a lifetime opportunity to sleep under the stars.
Jane had been staying in a luxury lodge before her last night, where she had stayed in accommodation with a bedroom and an outside bathroom.
She was told she'd be sleeping outside with the animals, under the stars.

Jane enjoyed breakfast outside in the wilderness the next morning, sharing her incredible experience, which she described as showing her "the joy in the world" around her.
"It has swept me away with emotion and welcomed me into a world that hasn't changed for years. It has shown me the joy in the world around me, " she said.
The travel expert was in awe as she spoke about the incredible experience: "I had nothing here, but I actually had everything here," Jane said while getting tearful.
She added: "I saw a shooting star last night, so sorry, it was like a message saying don't worry, everything is going to be ok."

The TV star continued: "We always think that time is a threat, but it isn't, time is a gift and I think if anything, it hit home with me last night it's how insignificant we all are here and how we worry about things that really don't matter."
"When you see the universe, and the planet like it is, it all makes sense and last night for me, all made sense. That's how powerful it was sleeping under the stars."
Jane then sipped her tea while gazing out at the wonderful nature scenery.
