Jay Brown makes a major decision after Lola's funeral in EastEnders | The Sun
WIDOWED Jay Brown is getting ready to bid a final farewell to his late wife Lola Pearce.
And after emotional funeral scenes aired next week in EastEnders, he makes a huge life-change.
BBC One viewers were left in tears in early June when Lola's final scenes were aired.
The hairstylist played by Danielle Harold drew her last breath surrounded by her young daughter Lexi (portrayed by Isabella Brown) and her husband Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick).
Many Walford residents were considerably shaken by the loss and will join Lola's loved ones for her funeral next week.
It all begins with Lola's grandfather Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) who is reeling as he attempts to busy himself with final preparations for the funeral.

Later on in the Square, Lola’s hearse arrives adorned in flowers and colourful messages left by the residents of Albert Square.
Lola's former neighbours and acquaintances then gather round for a celebration of Lola’s life just as she wished.
The ceremony is a celebration of Lola’s life with emotional speeches from Jay and her daughter Lexi.
But a fatigued Jay soon retreats to No.18 to record a final live stream on her channel thanking her followers for their support.
In later scenes, Jay clearly struggles with his immense grief while Lexi is worried about him which leads her to push Billy and her father Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) away as they try to cheer her up.
