Killer Nish makes an enemy of new Queen Vic landlord George in EastEnders
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) has already made it clear that he is not a fan of new Queen Vic landlady Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) in EastEnders, but he is soon set to fall out with the rest of her family, too.
After being chosen over him to buy the Queen Vic from Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Elaine was quick to put Nish in his place, putting him down in a way that viewers have been urging someone to for months.
However, her outburst was reciprocated with violence, as Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) trashed the Vic that night on his father’s behalf.
Though Elaine was prepared to let bygones be bygones, and offered a truce, Nish is set to get on the wrong side of another member of her family in upcoming scenes.
Elaine’s fiancé, George Knight (Colin Salmon) is set to arrive in the Square to help with the running of the Vic, and it soon becomes clear that he is not one to be messed with.
A former championship boxer, it seems that Nish is no match for him, as the pair butt heads almost immediately.
‘As an ex-boxer, he doesn’t have to be hard or prove himself because he’s a warrior. He’s been through some things like many people have.’ Actor Colin Salmon revealed.
Has Nish finally met his match on the Square?
With George’s arrival having already ruffled Linda’s feathers, he promises that he doesn’t plan on causing any trouble.
According to George, he simply wants to build a happy life with Elaine and his girls, Anna and Gina (Molly Rainford and Francesca Henry).
How long will that last with Nish around?
We already know that Nish is a killer, having served 20 years in prison for murder. Could George be his next victim, or will he prove to be a deadly enemy?
