Love Island bombshell in surprise stint after ex dumped her for ITV fame
Love Island is set for chaos as the next bombshell is reportedly an ex-girlfriend of a former Islander.
Scottish hunk Jay Younger, who appeared on last year’s summer series, will no doubt be stunned to see his ex join the hit ITV2 dating show this week.
Jay and Malissa Nicol had an intense six-month relationship – before he ended things with her before Christmas in 2021.

It appears things were still a bit sore between the pair, as following his villa stint, Mal told The Sun last year how he dumped her to go on the show.
She said: "It was traumatising. I was meant to be spending Christmas with his family. I don't want to experience anything like that again. It was brutal."
And now, it has been reported that Mal will be strutting into the famous Majorca villa to have her “own chance at finding love.”
But Mal’s alleged upcoming stint might rub up Jay, who worked in banking before his villa fame, the wrong way.
A TV source said to The Sun: “Seeing Mal on Love Island will likely be a lot for Jay. She’s genuinely moved on, though, and doesn’t see going on the show as any kind of revenge or power move.
“Mal is gorgeous, single and the life of the party. She just wants her own chance at finding love.”
In Love Island 2022, Jay entered the villa on day 12 as a bombshell alongside Remi Lambert.
He and Chyna Mills were dumped from the show on day 35 after the public voted for their favourite couple.
As fans will remember, he famously had a mini smooch with show legend Ekin-Su – which then led to the notorious crawling scene.
Following his stint on the show, Jay has not been shy to reveal some behind-the-scenes secrets.
During an exclusive chat with the Daily Star, he explained how ITV producers would prevent the contestants from talking about "villa life" while they weren't filming for the programme.
This would be on days off and at meal times and any other times where the Islanders were not on camera.
To stop any gossip spreading and chats progressing without being on camera, Islanders were banned from talking about anything juicy during these times.
However, Jay revealed how he and his co-stars got away with it.
Jay said: "Yeah so we weren't allowed to sing in there, as we know it cant be aired. So, that's exactly what we use to do.
"For example, when Billy was trying to get with Tasha when he came back from Casa Amor, I would refer to Tasha as T-Pain. So, if we were singing T-Pain songs we would be singing in code as Tasha for T-pain.”
