Love Island fans ‘beg’ producers to bring back Ruchee Gurung
Love Island: Ella and Ruchee left single and vulnerable
During a cliffhanger on Tuesday night, the Love Island stars were forced to boot one of their co-stars and had to choose between Ella Thomas and Ruchee Gurung.
After discussing the pros and cons of saving and booting each girl, the islanders decided to save Ella as she was exploring her connection with Tyrique Hyde, whilst Ruchee was not romantically involved with anyone.
Furious at the decision of the other islanders and blaming Mitchel Taylor for her departure, viewers took to their Twitter accounts and petition for Ruchee’s return.
@trxcyaddxi fumed: “Wow so Ruchee left for what exactly then? #LoveIsland.”
@fly2yoongi claimed: “Mitch is a loser, Molly is annoying, Zach is boring af I think we should bring back Ruchee! #LoveIsland.”
@Abi_Elizxx commented: “Someone please bring Ruchee back I beg #LoveIsland.”
@3uphxr1a begged: “Bring back Ruchee for Casa Amore please….. #LoveIsland.”
@haonpoint said: “They need to pull a love island France and bring Ruchee back #LoveIsland.”
@locoBiBi theorised: “There has to be a plot twist and Ruchee walks back in with two new bombshells #LoveIsland.”
@ohhanahoney asked: “Please producers bring Ruchee back because this is madness of the highest degree #LoveIsland.” (sic)

Whilst Ruchee cried during her departure and added she was going to miss the girls, she has since spoken out about her dumping and claimed she wasn’t as upset as she thought she would be.
Ruchee said: “I thought that I would be disappointed, but I’m not because I tried my best and I was myself. It didn’t work out for me and that’s completely fine.
“I thought that Ella was going to get saved because she has a connection in there, I would have probably even nominated myself to go – I’m so happy that they chose her.
“I would want her to continue her journey. I’ve built a really good relationship with the girls and I’m such a girls’ girl.
“I’m glad I got to experience being in the Villa. Coming from an Asian background, I did it for my community – represent! My journey was short, but it was sweet, so I’m happy.”
Love Island airs weeknights and Sundays from 9pm on ITV2.
