Love Island fans blast ‘unfair’ dumping as islanders didn’t get ‘screen time’
Love Island previews teases tears and new revelations
In the most recent instalment of the ITV2 dating show, viewers watched as the islanders in the villa had to decide which two islanders they wanted to leave the show for good.
Based on the public’s vote on who was their favourite couple, it resulted in Zachariah, Sammy and Andre becoming the three vulnerable boys.
Whereas Catherine, Charlotte and Leah were the bottom three girls.
The safe islanders in the villa then were tasked with picking one girl and one boy to make their exit as fans saw them choose Andre and bombshell Charlotte.
However, many were left reeling as viewers called their decision unfair due to them not receiving much screen time.
Twitter user @CeeC4you commented: “Andre wasn’t given enough screen time, it’s just so unfair he left that villa before Mehdi.”
While @Dah_look also fumed: “It’s so unfair for Andre to be going home and he’s barely had any screen time. We haven’t seen his and Catherine’s interactions in the villa before the voting.”
Elsewhere, @Jpegheat added: “It’s unfair to let islanders pick when they have connections with whoever is vulnerable it’s giving rigged votes.”
And Jpegheat said: “Andre had 0 screen time it’s unfair.”

Fellow ITV viewer @Freyaroberts22 tweeted: “Andre had 0 screen time which has led to this, it’s so unfair.”
And @Mirifq reeled: “Nah this is so unfair for Andre he just didn’t get enough screen time AND the boys are all snakes choosing Sammy over him who s had all their backs this whole time.”
Speaking about the islanders’ decision to kick him out of the villa, Andre confessed he understands it couldn’t have been easy for them.
He said: “Personally I would have loved to stay. Mainly because me and Catherine had done a full circle, branching out and then coming back to each other.

“It showed the strength in our connection. Whereas with the other two, they were still dabbling to see which connection they were gravitating more towards.
“But, there’s no hard feelings at all. Of course, I would have liked it to go a different route and further develop my connection with Catherine.
“However, as I’ve said, you’ve got to expect the unexpected.”
Love Island continues weekdays on ITV2 from 9pm.
