Love Island fans have ‘mind blown’ as Kady McDermott baffles with toothpaste method

Love Island fans were left scratching their heads on Sunday's episode over Kady McDermott's toothpaste method.

During the episode, as usual, the Islanders got ready for bed in the villa as the girls took off their makeup and changed into sleepwear before getting into bed with their partners.

However, eagle-eyed viewers were left baffled as Kady, 27, brushed her teeth before bed as instead of squeezing toothpaste onto her brush, she poured it straight into her mouth.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Who puts the toothpaste in their mouth first?! #LoveIsland."

A different account said: "DID KADY JUST SUCK THE TOOTHPASTE WITH HER MOUTH TO BRUSH HER TEETH?????? #loveIsland."

Another viewer wrote: "has anyone else not stopped thinking about how kady put toothpaste in her mouth instead of on the toothbrush #LoveIsland."

A different fan commented: "I've never seen anyone suck the toothpaste tube into their mouth before brushing their teeth.. mind blown #loveisland."

Another show watcher asked: "The way Kady just used that toothpaste has blown my mind. Surely this isn’t a thing? #LoveIsland."

While a different fan added: "Does everyone put the toothpaste in their mouth and not on the brush?? Have I been doing it wrong all my life #LoveIsland."

And even Boots, who provide beauty products and are the beauty partner for Love Island, joked about the moment writing alongside a screen grab of Kady: "This isn’t just any toothpaste…#LoveIsland."

It comes as Molly Marsh appeared to make a sly dig about estranged partner Zachariah Noble on Tuesday following her brutal dumping.

The 21-year-old was dumped after season two's Kady made her return to the show, and chose to couple up with Zachariah, 25, who was in a couple with Molly, 21, – resulting in the latter being eliminated immediately.

Since her exit, Molly has vowed to wait for Zachariah on the outside, adding: "There was definitely a part of me that thought, 'Come home with me.' I thought, 'Let’s go and we can carry this on.'"

However, while Molly pines for her partner on the outside, Zachariah has been busy getting to know Kady, 27, and Monday's episode saw him get rejected by the returning bombshell as he went in for a kiss.

Zachariah wasted no time in taking Kady to the terrace and attempting to get to know her more, as he repeatedly told her that she was making him "nervous", which he said "hasn't happened before" and said it was a "good thing".

He then went in to kiss her, even putting his hand on her neck in an apparent show of romance, but she held his arm and pulled away, and told him she wasn't ready for a kiss, in a toe-curling moment for the show.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Molly appeared to make a sly dig about the situation as she revealed that she was enjoying a "solo date" on her own.

Posting a picture of a pizza and chips, the former Islander penned: "Solo dates >."
