Love Island fans spot editing ‘blunder’ that proves Ekin and Gemma row was ‘set up’ by producers | The Sun
LOVE Island fans claim to have spotted an editing blunder that proves Ekin-Su and Gemma Owen's bust-up was staged by producers.
The two women had a very heated chat after Ekin-Su shared bits of a confidential conversation with Paige and Jacques, which then found its way to Gemma's partner Luca.
On last night's show it looked like Ekin made a beeline for the couple immediately after Dami had urged a small group not to talk about his 'mindreading' ability to other members of the villa.
Dami's superpower saw him accurately predict Gemma could be willing to get to know a new boy, despite her being coupled with Luca.
However, fans claim Ekin was told to spill the beans to Jacques and Paige, and that the conversation took place later than it first appeared.
One fan said: "The power of editing – Ekin-Su didn’t go straight over! She was holding her bottle when she left yet wasn’t when she approached Paige and Jacques 👀."

Another posted: "Also they were sat as a group, Dami, Gemma, and Ekin that night, as if nothing happened. Of course grudges shouldn't be held but just screams producer involvement to me."
A third said: "Producers definitely asked her to share with other islanders to start drama."
Another explanation is that Ekin could have offloaded her bottle in the kitchen before making her way empty-handed to the couple.
After the fiery clash sceptical fans also noticed Ekin and Gemmasitting next to each other at the villa’s blue party – indicating there was no real animosity between them.
