Love Island’s Antigoni’s sister gets first in maths degree as she poses with ‘hot dad’

It was a big day for the family of Love Island star Antigoni Buxton as her sister graduated from University.

Antigoni’s famous mother, Tonia Buxton took to Instagram to celebrate her “brilliant” daughter, Sophia Buxton, who graduated with a first in mathematics.

The proud mum shared a series of snaps from the magical day of her family posing with the young graduate.

“I can not even begin to express how proud we are of my brilliant beautiful @sophiabuxtonn,” the caption read. “She graduated today, a FIRST in her mathematics degree. She is everything a parent would hope for in a child, kind, generous and so very clever.”

She added: “I love you more than you will ever know.”

Model Sophia posed in a sage green body con dress under her black graduation cap and gown as she beamed for the family photos.

Her long brown hair flowed over her shoulders in loose waves as she sported a natural make-up look for the occasion.

Sophia also posed with her ‘hot dad’ Paul, 57 who caught the eye of Love Island fans.

Antigoni had previously shared a series of snaps with her ripped dad on Instagram to wish him a happy birthday in December.

Paul and Tonia have four children together including Antigoni and Sophia, and posed with the reality star in his swimwear on vacation.

Her followers rushed to the comments to talk about his appearance, one said: “I refuse to believe he is 57 WHAT,” while someone else said eagerly: “I need his nutrition and workout routine!”

As another added: “He doesn't know how to age. Goals honestly”, as fourth person simply wrote: “Abb genetics”.

Antigoni, 26, joined the villa as a bombshell on Tuesday 21 June and is already familiar to the spotlight as her mum is a celebrity TV chef.

The singer songwriter also dated a former Islander, Jack Fowler, 26 who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2018. So she was already well aware of how the show works.

Her family have also been supportive and quick to defend Antigoni during her time in the villa.

Sophia told told OK! that the Grecian goddess is “loyal” and “isn’t afraid to go after what she wants”.

“Since she’s been single, Antigoni’s been trying all sorts of new experiences, saying yes to loads of things,” Sophia explained.

She continued: “She loves making friends, and the show is a good excuse to spend the summer with young, fun people. Love Island is right up her street. Plus, she loves having a tan!”

Sophia also cleared up a rumour about her sister dating boxer Anthony Joshua and admitted: “She can see he’s a good-looking boy. But there’s definitely no romance there. They’ve known each other for a little while now.”

Love Island airs weekdays from 9pm on ITV2.
