Love Island’s Layla reveals secret connection and kisses with boy which never aired
Fans of this year's Love Island will no doubt remember Casa Amor bombshell Layla Al-Momani as the person who almost swayed Will Young from his union with Jessie Wynter, after the pair shared a kiss in the separate villa.
But it seems that Will, 23, wasn't the only male Islander that Layla, 28, formed a strong connection with as, after leaving the show having failed to couple up with anyone, Layla has revealed that she also shared a connection – and kisses – with Kai Fagan, 24, but they weren't aired.
Speaking to The Sun, Layla revealed that, prior to entering the villa, she initially had her eyes on Will, as well as Ron Hall and Casey O'Gorman, but upon her arrival, she was immediately blown away by science and PE teacher Kai's brooding good looks.
She said: "As soon as I walked in, he was the person I remember because he's so tall. And I was like, ‘Oh my Lord, like that boy is fit’.”
Layla then revealed that she and Kai hit it off before the challenge, saying they "got on so, so, so well" but that they had conversations that were "not really TV conversation" as she claimed that ITV "wouldn't really show that stuff".
The beauty said that the type of questions Kai asked her were about what her "goals and hobbies" were, rather than just her "type," as she described him as "so engaging and intriguing".
Layla went on: “And then we have a challenge and I think we kissed each other four times. They asked the question, which Islander you fancy the most and he picked me, it was the same thing for me and him.
“There was a one point where it was like grab the islander you want to share a bed with tonight and he literally grabbed me and picked me up and ran me to his bed."
Layla described how she thought that meant that she would be sharing a bed with Kai, as she recalled telling the other female bombshells that she was "obsessed" with Kai.
Later, however, Layla and TikTok farmer Will Young ended up flirting up a storm, sharing a passionate kiss and a bed, before Will later regretted his actions as he was originally coupled up with Aussie Islander, Jessie Wynter.
During the recoupling as the Islanders came back together, Jessie was devastated to learn that Will had kissed Layla, as she had remained faithful to him throughout Casa Amor, leaving Will making a huge gesture to win her back.
Since leaving the villa, Layla has admitted that she has "cried every day" due to how she was perceived on the show as a "sexual man-eater".
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
