Love Island’s Maya Jama takes savage swipe at ‘cheating’ ex
Maya Jama appears to hit out at ex Stormzy
Maya Jama referenced her own “cheating” experience with an ex-boyfriend and claimed it was “real life”.
During Love Island’s Aftersun on Sunday, Maya empathised with jilted Islander Molly Marsh who returned to Casa Amor to confront Zachariah Noble over his new relationship with Kady McDermott.
Guest Sam Thompson revealed that Zach was still wearing her bracelet when he was seen kissing Kady just two days after Molly was dumped from the Island.
Quick to remark, Maya quipped: “That’s real life though girls – and boys, they’ll wear your necklace and lips someone else, we just don’t get it on camera.”
Maya’s comment didn’t go unnoticed by Love Island viewers as they took to their Twitter to praise her “shade”.

Fans though Maya was referencing her romance with rapper Stormzy, who has admitted to “disrespecting” and being “inconsiderate” towards her.
Stormzy told Louis Theroux in a BBC interview last year: “My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man.
“It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.
“That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have.”
He added: “I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate love, and care for his woman.”
Molly’s return to the villa caused an uproar with viewers after she was branded a “control freak” for wanting to confront Zach so soon after her original exit.
During an awkward conversation, she asked if he “still thought” about her and revealed she had been “waiting for him”, despite him cracking on with Kady.
Love Island airs weeknights and Sunday from 9pm on ITV2.
