MAFS’ reunion date confirmed with ‘explosive’ scenes to air across two nights

Married At First Sight UK’s reunion show is set to air over two nights, it has been revealed, with the episodes being branded “explosive”.

Contestants on the show are set to come to face-to-face in two jam-packed episodes which will air next week.

It has even been reported that filming the episodes was so "explosive" that producers were forced to step in between some of the cast members.

The final scenes are set to air on Monday, October 17 at 8pm and Tuesday, October 18 at 9pm.

"The reunion is so explosive this year that it's being aired across two nights," a source said.

"That means fans are getting double the amount of action as they enjoy a gossip-filled dinner party followed by a tense reunion that causes fireworks between the cast members.

"Viewers will also see who has stayed together and who has parted ways since the experiment ended."

The source added to The Sun: "The reunion is like nothing you've seen before – it's all kicking off.

"It's explosive, let's just say that that the previous dinner parties have got nothing on what's about to happen."

It seems old tensions between the couples will resurface, with Gemma Rose and her former husband Matt Murray appearing to be at odds yet again.

While it's unclear if Matt, 32, and his second on-screen partner Whitney Hughes are still together, there's definitely still bad blood between the couple and Gemma.

Another pair at odds are Kasia London and Kwame Badu.

The reunion episode comes after Kasia, 36 shared photos from their wedding, which she had brutally scrubbed Kwame, 42, from.

And it seems that since their split the pair have not remained on good terms, with the trailer showing Kasia raging at her former husband, as he asks: "Did you say you were single and looking for a man?"

The teaser also shows Chanita Stephenson in tears, but viewers will have to tune in to find out why.

And tensions heat up between Matt and Sophie Brown, as Gemma accuses her former beau over "slagging" Sophie off, before Sophie defends herself, also shouting at Matt.

Sophie is then shown storming out, with Chanita following after.

It remains unclear what role George Roberts will play in the reunion, which was filmed prior to his arrest.
