MAFS star reveals date that couldnt be shown because it contained animal cruelty

Married At First Sight's outback tradie Cam Woods revealed some horrifying truths on his Instagram stories that left fans shocked.

Answeting questions on social media, the star from the Australian series revealed some never-heard-before stories including one about a disastrous date with his then-wife Lyndall. The date, which was planned and organised by Lyndall Grace, caused controversy and drama on social media when the backstory to it was revealed by Cam.

At first he fondly recalls a romantic fishing trip date in Sydney Harbour for his birthday after a fan asked the best moment that we didn't see on TV.

"Best moment we didn't see on TV… there's a few good ones, but probably the funniest one was when Lyndall took me down to go fishing and I caught this fish in the harbour," he reminisces, despite not being on talking terms with his ex anymore.

"It was probably the only fish that was in the bloody harbour because it was filthy."

However, the story took an unexpected turn for the worst. Cam continued, "We had all these pigeons sitting next to us. And I dropped a chip, this pigeon went and grabbed it and I grabbed hold of it.

"I've got hold of its tail and it's flapping crap everywhere. Lyn's squealing, camera crew had it all on camera and I couldn't stop laughing."

The scenes that were filmed were considered too controversial for TV viewing, prompting TV bosses to exclude the scenes from airing.

Although there is no evidence to imply Cam meant the bird any harm whatsoever, he did admit that although he "let it go" it was likely producers thought "we probably can't use that because that's animal cruelty," ending the unexpected funny story on a sour note.

Cam's casual online chat comes after scenes showing Lyndall brutally dumping him during the MAFS final vows.

The latest series has been filled with scandal, from partner swaps to shock exits and arguments galore. Cam was also embroiled in the sexting scandal with fellow contestant Tayla, who was also already married to Hugo Armstrong. Cam however denies this accusation, referring to an incident involving inappropriate behaviour on a Facetime call with Tayla. He insists that whilst a version of this happened, he wasn't cheating.

"I never did cheat," the blonde reality star claimed.
