Cyber security sales director Duncan James signed up for the unusual social experiment in the hope of meeting his match. MAFS Australia saw the 36-year-old tie the knot with executive assistant Alyssa Barmonde who he seemed to form a real connection with. Their relationship, however, has hit a rough patch, as E4 fans witnessed at the weekend.

On Sunday night’s episode, Duncan’s wife Alyssa told him that he couldn’t understand her life as he wasn’t a parent.

After they were reunited following the couple swap challenge, he was left in tears as they had another blazing row.

Still crying, Duncan told the cameras: “I feel more rejected in this relationship than any relationship I’ve been in.”

But it looks like he may have found someone else through MAFS Australia.

Which former MAFS Australia star is Duncan James dating now?

While there has been no official confirmation that Duncan and Alyssa are no longer together, there are signs this is the case.

The pair haven’t been pictured together going about their lives since filming finished last year.

Alyssa also shared a passage sent to her by a friend on her Instagram Story, which started: “You’re strong enough for anything. Please remember this fact.”

Since then, a few pictures from earlier this year have resurfaced, indicating Duncan has moved on.

The MAFSA groom has been spotted spending time with last year’s bride Carolina Santos in what looks like to be a date.

They were seen together in Sydney in January, just a couple of months after filming for this year’s series was wrapped up.

Someone who was there and took pictures of the pair, captured the two whispering and placing their hands on each other’s knees.

Carolina is also shown wrapping her arms around Duncan for a picture.

The person who took the photographs told Yahoo Lifestyle: “I had no idea who Duncan was then because the new season had now started.

“It looked like they were on a date but they had other friends with them.”

Carolina was originally matched with Dion Giannarelli but went on to date fellow intruder Daniel Holmes.

They did stay together for some time after the series finished but announced their split in August 2022.

Duncan had been previously romantically linked to 2023 intruder Evelyn Ellis as they were seen flirting at her viewing party in Sydney.

However, Evelyn has since stated nothing is going on between the two of them.

She explained: “Everyone from Sydney was invited. Melinda [Willis] and Layton [Mills] were supposed to come but she had to fly back to Brissy, and Ollie [Skelton] was sick that day.

“I was stuck with the boys which was fine, we just had a few drinks and watched the episode. There’s definitely nothing there.”

MAFS Australia is available to watch Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on E4.
