Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's £88 million documentary series will air on Netflix and the date has been announced as 8 December.
It was reported that the couple tried to push back the release date to 2023 despite Netflix paying them a rumoured sum of $100million, which is £88million, for the show.
Mixed reports have emerged and Deadline has insisted that the show will be delayed until next year.

It is reported that bosses are "rattle" and "blinking first" due to the backlash over the fifth series of The Crown, but Page Six has said that the documentary will air on the 8th.
Harry has also been working on a tell-all memoir titled Spare and along with the Netflix series, both have caused quite the controversy.
Royal experts have said that the projects have hindered their reconciliation with Harry's father, King Charles, or his brother, Prince William.
After the Queen died back in September, it was reported that the couple wanted to "downplay" what they said about Charles, Camilla, William and his wife Kate Middleton, while it was also said that the couple were facing doubts about the series altogether.
One source said: "A lot of conversations are happening. I hear that Harry and Meghan want the series to be held until next year, they want to stall. I wonder if the show could even be dead in the water at this point – do Harry and Meghan just want to shelve this thing?"
A Netflix insider also said: "Netflix has been keen to have the show ready to stream for December. There’s a lot of pressure on [Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos, who has the relationship with Harry and Meghan, to get this show finished."
Despite the "pressure," the source claimed that Netflix were "standing by the filmmakers" and that the project will "still be going forward".
Earlier this year, inside sources reportedly told Page Six that Harry and Meghan were seriously doubting the series and were "at odds" with the crew as they wanted to make "extensive edits," which panicked production into thinking that the show could be "shelved indefinitely".
