Mollie King branded Holly Willoughbys double as ITV fans spot uncanny likeness

This Morning viewers were left confused after they tuned in to discover The Saturdays singer Mollie King was presenting the show instead of usual hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

Mollie presented alongside Irish television presenter Craig Doyle, but eagle eyed viewers could help notice the similarities between Mollie and Holly, beside their rhyming names.

Mollie welcomed viewers to the show with her blonde, shoulder length hair worn in loose waves, almost identical to Holly's usual style.

She also wore a light brown cargo-style shirt with large pocket flaps, a collar and buttons down the centre.

Fans turned to Twitter to share their confusion as they tried to establish a difference between the two This Morning stars.

A baffled fan tweeted: "Mollie or Holly? Does anyone else think she looks exactly like her?"

One wrote: "Craig and Holly’s mini me presenting today."

Another joked: "The other two girls from the Saturdays must be really pissed off that they haven’t been given a gig by ITV yet."

Other confused viewers asked Twitter "where Josie is," while one commented that Craig should "present with Gok Wan" as it "would be a laugh".

Some fans were disappointed that frequent stand-in host Josie Gibson wasn't present and asked for her to take Mollie and Craig's place.

However, many came to their defence and tweeted that they "deserved to be on the show" and complimented their presenting style.

This Morning regular Gok Wan made an appearance on the show and jokingly accused Craig of "flirting" with him after he introduced Gok's segment.

His section of the ITV show was about "helping people feel confident" in their swimwear and whilst at the beach, but Craig kindly said that Gok could "make anyone feel confident".

The camera then cut to the fashion icon and Wan joked that he "loves it when Craig flirts with him," which left Mollie and Craig in fits of laughter.

Gok gave a warm welcome to Mollie and then turned to the camera to ask the audience whether "the idea of swimwear terrifies them".

He reassured viewers that he will have a shape and style that will suit everyone for the upcoming summer season.
