Mystery as Strictly's Giovanni and Richie sit SEPARATELY on It Takes Two – but all other couples share a sofa | The Sun

FANS were left confused last night after Strictly couple Giovanni Pernice and Richie Anderson sit SEPARATELY on It Takes Two.

The pair – who dance together on the BBC competition – were separated during the show, while all the other celebrities sat side-by-side with their professional partners.

Viewers of Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two thought they spotted tension between Giovanni, 32, and Richie, 34, on Monday.

Despite being placed next to each other, two men were given their own armchairs, while Kaye Adams and Kai Widdrington had snuggled up on the sofa just minutes before.

The pair discussed their dance over the weekend – after scoring an incredible 32 points from the judges after a "long week".

Fans felt something was off between the pair, suggesting that Giovanni looked "out of sorts" during their interview.
