Phillip Schofield tells Holly Willoughby shut your face over age joke

Phillip Schofield told Holly Willoughby to "shut her face" after she made a joke about his age in tonight’s episode of Dancing on Ice.

The hosts returned to the helm of the much-loved ITV skating show tonight as the remaining celebrities took to the ice with routines based on the theme of 'music icons'.

Under the watchful eyes of the panel of judges, including skating royalty Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, celebrities transformed into their music heroes and boogied on the ice to some legendary tunes.

We saw Patsy Palmer stun in Ginger Spice's unforgettable union Jack dress while Joey Essex donned a rainbow feathered headdress in a tribute to Elton John's Rocketman.

The hosts once again stood beside the rink to introduce the next star taking to the ice and watch over their scores.

Holly looked amazing as ever in a baby pink ballgown and Phil sported an all-back tuxedo.

However, it wasn’t until the pair introduced comedian Darren Harriott and his skating partner Tippy Packard that they almost clashed.

In the playful exchange Holly said: “Right, it’s time for our next couple who are taking us back to the 80s when the colours were loud and the hair was huge”.

Phil stepped in: “But of course…we don’t remember that”.

Before Holly jokingly pointed at him and said: “Ermmmm…”

Almost immediately Phil quipped back: “Shut your face".

The crowd burst into laughter before Darren skated on in a high-vis jacket to Wham! I'm Your Man.

Missing from the show tonight was The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran, who was forced to pull out after falling ill with a bug which he 'hasn't been able to shake'.

In a statement ITV confirmed that he wouldn't be performing this weekend and would be returning to the show as soon as he is better.

Confirming the news Siva admitted he is 'gutted' that he won't be dancing but will still be watching on.

He said: "I'm gutted that I won't be performing this weekend but I picked up a bug earlier in the week which I haven’t been able to shake so I need to rest and get myself better.

"Good luck to all the contestants this weekend – I'm looking forward to watching everyone's performances!"
