Piers Morgan was back on Monday night with his TalkTV show, Uncensored. During the programme, the former Good Morning Britain host discussed whether the Royal Family should apologise to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the claims they made during their Netflix docu-series. Meanwhile, Piers also chatted with his guests about the latest ambulance worker strikes.

However, things got a tad heated between the host and his guests Natalie Collins, Esther Krakue and Dai Davies when discussing the royals.

“My question about the coronation,” Piers began before adding: “Why would two people who despise the monarchy and everything it stands for and thinks that the Royal Family are a bunch of racists? Why on earth would they turn up at the coronation?”

“Why would they? I’ll tell you why, because that’s where the money is,” the host claimed.

“If they’re seen at the coronation next to all the major royal players, that is gold dust for their next Netflix series.

“And right there is the hypocrisy that underpins everything these two do.”

Piers also claimed “I don’t hate Meghan Markle” as he chatted about his exit from Good Morning Britain.

He continued: “You know what, I get called a racist all day long on social media now as a direct result of Meghan Markle levering me out of my former job, in which she basically said if you didn’t believe her about everything, you must be a racist.

“I don’t have a racist bone in my body, nor have I ever said anything racist about Meghan Markle.

“No one can find anything I’ve said, and yet, it got so ridiculous.

“Even Sharon Osbourne was fired from a job she loved in America because she said I was entitled to my opinion, and for that, she was called a racist sympathiser.”

The segment sparked a strong reaction from viewers, with many slamming Piers over his views.

Patricia Edemete said: “You might not hate Meghan but you’ve been inciting hate against her for years. Who made you the spokesperson for the Royal family?! You have caused more divide btw Harry and his family & Meghan and hers.” (sic)

Lisa Miller wrote: “The obsession Piers Morgan has with Meghan Markle goes well beyond objectivity.

“He doesn’t have to say ‘I hate Meghan Markle’ It’s obvious that he loathes her on a personal level.”

While Anais Alexander pointed out: “Talk about splitting hairs. you may not have said the exact words you hate her but your vile articles vomit hatred.

“If you would stick to reporting facts and less of your disgusting opinion of her then I would believe what you say. But it’s clear that you DO hate her – admit it.” (sic)

Paul raged: “Lol oh shut up you’re about as convincing as Clarkson’s “apology”….stop inviting these bewildered activists on who you can bully and try somebody who has the full dossier on you and has the brains to use it.”

“You are jealous of Meghan so keep trying to pull her down and when you can’t you try even harder. Pitiful,” user @Ma309Marie fumed.

Annie disagreed: “Oh, come on, you hate Meghan. Get real!”
