The 30-year-old non-binary singer took to the O2 Arena on Tuesday evening as part of their Gloria tour.
They wore a black tailcoat with puff mesh sleeves over a black and gold embroidered corset with studded black underwear.
Accompanying the look, Sam wore a top hat with devil’s horns while holding a sceptre to match as well as a pair of black PVC over-knee boots with fishnet tights.
During the performance, they took the corset off to appear topless onstage with black tape covering their nipples.
However, it seems the rather risque outfit has divided opinions across the globe with Piers Morgan discussing the eye-catching look on his TalkTV show.
Speaking with guests Douglas Murray and James Barr, Piers slammed: “My point about Sam Smith is it’s just an orgy, of in my view, a narcissistic self-indulgent deliberately shocking stuff.
“He looks terrible! Why would you do this?”
Although James defended the singer’s sexual antics on stage as he highlighted other stars who have done outrageous things while performing.
He replied: “You’re friends with Ozzy Osbourne right? Ozzy Osbourne ate a bat’s head on stage, which could be considered vulgar.”

While James and Piers were speaking about Sam, viewers were shown footage of the singer grinding on their devil spectre and doing licking motions while wearing a mouth gag.
Piers quipped: “Ozzy Osbourne never did anything like this.
“You can’t seriously think that what we’re looking at here is actually anything other than ridiculous, look at him.”
However, James supported the star’s authenticity as he told Piers: “No I think it’s absolutely fantastic. I think it’s brilliant, I think it’s sexy and I think it’s individual.”
Although the TalkTV presenter was in disbelief at James’ claims as he laughed while clips of Sam played.
Cutting in, Piers’ other guest asked Douglas bluntly asked: “Would you shag it?”
Stunned at his frankness, James replied: “Yeah absolutely I would have sex with Sam, thank you for asking. Would you Douglas? Because it sounds like you’re a little bit too obsessed with them.”
Stating he’s not obsessed with Sam, Douglas confessed he’s just a man who knows what he does and doesn’t like.
He swiped: “What I like and I don’t like is fat blubbery show-offs who look hideous dressed in lacy pants with their fat spilling out everywhere and doing it in front of as many people as possible to gain attention.
“I just don’t find that sexy, I’m old-fashioned.”
