Power Ghost star teases major change to ‘cold-hearted’ character
Caroline Chikezie teases softer side of Noma in Power Book II
Since Noma (Caroline Chikezie) joined the cast of Power Book II: Ghost, she has definitely made her presence known, showing fans the true definition of violence as she asserted her power among Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) and his crew. However, Chiekzie told Express.co.uk that at some point this season, fans will get to see a different side of her devious character.
The highly-anticipated season three of Power Book II returned to screens last month, bringing fans more violence and drama thanks to the help of Noma.
Season three’s opening scene saw Noma cut an unexpecting woman’s arm clean off in order to retrieve back a 4.5Karat blue diamond ring that once belonged to her fiance Mecca (Daniel Sunjata).
But Noma was only giving fans a taste of what was yet to come, as she kept fans on the edge of their seats throughout the season so far.
However, according to Chikezie, there is more to Noma behind all the violence and aggression that fans have seen so far.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Chikezie revealed that fans will see a more “gentle side” to Noma in the upcoming episodes.
The actress explained: “Oh, yeah! I mean I don’t want to give away any spoilers but can say that.
“You know, the people she really loves that you perhaps will meet as this series progresses, you’ll see a gentle side a softer side.
“So yeah, you get to see that, which is nice to play as well.”

Chikezie also defended Noma after her co-star Michael Rainey Jr called her character “crazy” in a previous interview with Express.co.uk.
When asked if Noma’s violent acts were justified, she said: “I will say that, yeah, in her mind, to her, she thinks she’s doing exactly what needs to be done.
“She doesn’t have that feeling that she’s being unreasonable or anything like that. And in Noma’s defence, she does have a big heart.
“She’s not as cold-hearted as everyone would believe, but it’s only for her loved ones. If you can survive Noma, you know, get under her skin make her like you she likes you.”
But that doesn’t mean fans won’t be getting the bad side of Noma they have already seen and loved.
The actress explained: “She is a bit of a hothead, crazy one though.
“See once she loses her temper, she doesn’t like to be disrespected and if she thinks you’re disrespecting her, she’s gonna take you out.”
Before Power Book II returned to Starz with its third season, lead star Michael Rainey Jr warned fans about Noma’s devious ways.
