Saturday Kitchen guest tells Matt Tebbutt ‘don’t mock me’ after swipe
Saturday Morning Live: Guest fumes after being mocked by Matt Tebbutt
Saturday Kitchen guest and chef Andi Oliver hit out at the show’s host Matt Tebbutt after he joked about her having various ailments.
The moment happened minutes into the show after Matt was introducing the line-up, which included Andi, chef Chet Sharmam and comedian, author and former doctor Adam Kay, who was behind the hit BBC series This Is Going To Hurt.
Wine expert Olly Smith told Matt: “It’s five past 10 and I’m amazed you haven’t given any of your symptoms to Adam.”
Presenter Matt said: “Oh, I’ve got a list as long as your arm.” Olly said Matt was trying to get a “naughty prescription” from Adam.
Matt then cheekily added: “I’ve got a long list. Andi’s probably going to join in.”
But his friend and fellow chef seemed to take issue with the little swipe and Andi hit back: “How dare you.” Matt joked: “She’s always moaning about something.”
Andi continued: “I’m not moaning about anything. I’ve got a bad arm and now I’ve got my hearing aid. Don’t mock me.”
She pointed a finger at Matt, which seemed to silence him and he continued on with the show.

Despite the bantering nature of the exchange, Andi and Matt recently revealed how they went on holiday together for a culinary adventure.
They went to Barbados together with Matt telling viewers: “You wanted to go away with me, so I obliged.”
Andi even prepared a special Bajan dish Matt had missed out on during their trip.
The pork belly souse with cornmeal pudding went down a treat with Matt and the rest of the team as Andi explained how it was a traditional breakfast meal combining sweetness and spice.
Later in the show, guest Adam, who was promoting his new children’s book, revealed he wasn’t one of nature’s cooks.
He admitted he stayed away from the kitchen to the extent the brand-new oven in his flat had never been used or opened and still contained some of the polystyrene packaging it had come with when first installed.
