Sharon confronts Ravi as Keanu fights for life in EastEnders tonight
Things go from bad to worse for Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) following his arrest as he is subjected to a brutal attack.
Keanu accepted a job from Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) that saw him transporting drugs in a van, but as he was running late to his son Albie Watts’ christening, Keanu parked the van at the church to attend.
When the van’s alarm went off, Keanu was arrested but eventually let out on bail. But his ordeal wasn’t over as he was attacked and left for dead.
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) sees Keanu and calls an ambulance, just as a distraught Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) arrives.
In the waiting room, Sharon shares her theory with Phil that Ravi is behind the attack but Phil isn’t convinced.
When Keanu’s mother Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) arrives, she tears into Sharon for forcing Keanu to turn to crime to keep up but his sister Bernadette Taylor (Clair Norris) counters that he’s mixed up in things none of them know about.
Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) sees a confrontation between Ravi and Sharon and realises his son is the attacker as Sharon threatens to report him to the police
As Nish berates Ravi for putting himself in a position to be thrown back inside, the police arrive at Walford East.
Elsewhere, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) struggles to celebrate his birthday in the face of his granddaughter Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) tragically short life expectancy in the face of her terminal cancer diagnosis.
Meanwhile, Lola is trying to throw a surprise party for him at The Vic. Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is conflicted when Lola brings her in on the plan, knowing Billy can’t bring himself to feel happy.
Later, Billy walks into The Vic to find all his friends waiting to surprise him – but how will he react?
In other scenes, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) is getting increasingly fed up with Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) coronation party talk, especially when Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) makes a big romantic gesture for Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
She confides in Rocky, who suggests she and Reiss need to get to know each other better. Will Sonia finally tell Reiss that it’s her birthday on Saturday?
There’s more coronation party drama in the square as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) continues to resist Alfie Moon’s (Shane Richie) efforts to get her to throw a bash to celebrate the newly-crowned monarch.
