Smitten Peri seizes the day to be with Juliet in Hollyoaks

Despite her best efforts to move on, Hollyoaks legend Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) is still head over heels in love with Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw).

Juliet, as fans know, ended their relationship earlier this year, after she embarked on an affair with Nadira Valli (Ashling O’Shea), claiming to have fallen out of love with Peri.

Peri was heartbroken and resolved to move on, as did Juliet, but despite her claims, she is still evidently in love with her ex.

Nadira, meanwhile, has picked up on the spark between the former couple, and later this week, she attempts to mark ‘her’ territory with a public display of affection with Juliet in front of love rival Peri.

Juliet, however, struggles to stay away from Peri, and something seemingly happens between the two, as Juliet subsequently confronts her former flame, revealing that she intends to spill the beans to Nadira!

Has a stolen kiss taken place? Have sparks perhaps flown between the soulmates?

That remains to be seen, but Juliet is hellbent on coming clean – and all three characters meet up at the gym. Before Jules can reveal all, however, Peri surprisingly steps in to change the story!

Just what has she done?

The jury is still out on that one we’re afraid, but subsequent scenes see Juliet and Peri left alone when out for drinks with friends.

Will they seize the moment?

Peri is determined to do so, as she realises that she’s still very much smitten, and thus makes it her mission to spend as much time around Juliet as possible.

Our HEARTS.

Juliet, meanwhile, calls in sick for work, which concerns Peri, as she drops by to see her former fiancée, intent on finding out if she’s okay.

A surprising realisation soon follows, however, one which threatens to scupper any hope of a rekindling!

Will Juliet and Peri EVER get back together? Like, ever?

The path to true love never did run smooth, as they say, so we’re not giving up on our star-crossed soulmates just yet.
