SOILDIER Soldier star Holly Aird looks unrecognisable 29 years after playing Sgt. Nancy Thorpe on the British drama.
The series became a popular hit in the 90s, appearing on our screens for just six years between 1991 to 1997.
TV star Holly played Sgt. Nancy Thorpe for the first five series.
The drama followed the life of the officers and men of the King's Own Fusiliers regiment, during their home lives, training exercises and battles
Fans of the show were used to seeing Holly's character Nancy in full officer uniform with her hair swept back.
Fast forward nearly two three decades later and the actress looks very different.

Her character married Jermone Flynn's character Paddy Garvey in 1994.
Viewers were obsessed with their love story – in 1994 when they got married, the show pulled in ratings of 16 million.
The show also starred Robson Green, who shot to fame alongside Jerome, who went onto to become household names with their Unchained Melody, which last at Number One for seven weeks in 1995.
Though they left after series five, the show carried on for another two seasons.
