Spoilers: Christmas twist revealed for pregnant Lily and dad Ryan in EastEnders

Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) is left in turmoil in upcoming EastEnders scenes when she learns that pregnant daughter Lily (Lillia Turner), plans to spend Christmas with dad Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) in Wakefield.

Ryan recently made a sudden reappearance in Lily’s life after discovering her pregnancy from sister Whitney (Shona McGarty). While on the Square, he caused havoc among the Slaters by starting constant arguments with Stacey.

It wasn’t long before the real reason he was there came out, as he asked Lily to move to Wakefield with him.

For a while she was convinced that she would like to, however, she soon changed her mind after witnessing one of Stacey and Ryan’s rows.

She finally chucked him out, before he left, seemingly for good.

However, it seems this may not be the last we hear of Ryan, as he invites Lily and the baby to spend Christmas with him.

Stacey, still fearful that Lily may change her mind about moving in with her dad, is totally against the idea, confiding in Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) in the hope of finding some kind of solution.

Together, they come up with an ingenious plan that they know will keep Lily in Walford for Christmas Day.

Kat gets fiancé Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to agree to postpone the wedding until Christmas Day, so that Lily has to stay around to be bridesmaid.

Will their plan work to keep Lily on the Square? And will Kat and Phil’s relationship even make it that far?
