Stacey and Eve join forces in EastEnders to save Suki from killer Nish

Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) is on a mission to protect Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) from Nish (Navin Chowdhry) in EastEnders next week after Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) relays a shock theory.

Suki, as viewers know, has agreed to give her marriage another go in the wake of abusive killer Nish’s release from prison.

The matriarch had been all set to embrace who she truly is and embark on a romance with lover Eve, but Nish’s release from captivity left her fearing for Eve, after the killer claimed he would resort to murder if anyone ever came between them.

Given that Nish was incarnated for killing a man he believed that she was having an affair with, Suki wasn’t willing to take a gamble with her beloved Eve’s life and therefore she put an end to their romance.

Suki was later embroiled in a murder investigation into Ranveer’s death, and she and Nish subsequently took as leave of absence from the Square, but they return in upcoming scenes.

Eve is keen to reconnect with Suki in the wake of her comeback, but will Suki be willing to catch up with her?

The answer to that question remains unknown, but we reckon it’s a no. Stacey, meanwhile, crosses paths with Nish and Suki, and she’s left unnerved by the tense encounter, relaying what happened to Eve and questioning if perhaps Suki is in need of some help.

Eve, worried for Suki’s well-being, swoops into action, as she approaches Nish – and successfully manages to worm her way into his good books, offering him a business opportunity.

But will she and Stacey succeed in rescuing Suki from Nish? Or is master manipulator Nish going to acquire the upper hand once more?
