Steve Fletcher will be back at The Repair Shop on BBC One tonight along with Jay Blades as he puts his expertise to good use. He will be looking to restore a unique timepiece, a statue of a barmaid holding a swinging pendulum clock dial. Fans are keen to find out more about the horologist, including whether he has any children.
Does The Repair Shop’s Steve Fletcher have children?
Steve is known for working alongside his sister Suzie on the much-loved TV series, The Repair Shop.
He runs The Clock Workshop in Witney and is an expert in clock repairs and restoration.
Steve has come from one of many generations to lead the business, which was founded in 1910 by his grandfather.
He took over the role from his father, continuing the 100 years of family craftsmanship.
Steve is very much a family man himself, being both a dad and a grandad.

As of 2021 he has four daughters and a son, who have children of their own.
Steve’s son Fred has joined the family business, working as a junior clockmaker.
His daughter Milly is also employed at the workshop as an admin assistant.
Steve took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with his children whilst away in Cornwall.
He captioned the photo: “Keeping the family theme going today… I asked on my stories how many children you think I have – the answer is five, plus four grandchildren!
“We all lead such busy lives, but we try to get away to Cornwall together every year.
“With partners and grandchildren, there are quite a few of us, so it’s absolutely lovely to be able to enjoy precious time in each other’s company.
“Looking forward to the day that we’ll all be allowed to get together again.”
In June 2022 the clock expert shared a video of his granddaughter Arietta making her first clock.
Arietta showed off her masterpiece, which was made from a paper plate and had hands made out of card.

Steve said: “Taking up the trade as the fifth generation of our family business.
“Just wait to see how much she’ll be selling these for.”
The youngster explained how she would sell the clocks for £1 and was planning on making more at school.
Steve also shared a photo of his children Milly and Fred tidying up outside the front of the Clock Workshop.
He said: “Great to see Milly and @fredfletcher.clocks tidying up some of the plants in front of our @clock_workshop_witney today. Was turning into a small forest.”
Fans have loved gaining insight into Steve’s family life through his social media.
The expert has also been with his partner Mel for many years and they live near Steve’s business.
Steve said it was Mel who urged him to take on the role at The Repair Shop.
He has gone on to become a fan-favourite on the show.
The Repair Shop airs on Wednesdays on BBC One.
