Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off show, It Takes Two is set to air after Monday night's (December 12) results show in a major schedule change set up by the BBC.

The changes were made to make space for the England FIFA World Cup match against France on Saturday night, although England were unfortunately knocked out of the tournament.

Viewers shared their fury online as the format changes were announced by Strictly presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

The hosting duo confirmed the show's usual weekend slot would be shifted, moving the live show to Sunday night and the results show on Monday night.

It Takes Two, which typically airs every weeknight on BBC Two at 6:30pm is set to instead be on at 9pm, and host, Rylan Clark-Neal is due to speak to the latest celebrity couple to leave the competition.

One fan took to Twitter to share how "discombobulating" the changes were.

"Just seen tomorrow’s #ittakestwo is on at 9pm. Mad! Bloody football has been so discombobulating #Strictly", they wrote.

Another added: "Having the results tomorrow and going straight into #ItTakesTwo at 9pm is frazzling me #Strictly #StrictlyComeDancing".

Other fans were more outraged to find the results of the semi-finals had in fact been leaked. The results are filmed straight after the live shows, meaning "moles" in the audience who are meant to keep the secret can let the public know at any moment.

Upon finding out which celebrity had been booted, some fans said the "right person" had been evicted from the show.

One viewer said: "I'm pleased that we have the correct finalists."

"Yeah on dancing alone I’m not surprised this week. [They were] the weakest one this week which is a shame" a second agreed.

But others didn't know if they could keep up the charade.

"#Strictly How are they going to play out #ItTakesTwo tomorrow and pretend they don't know who has left????", they pondered.
