The Chase fans went wild after a contestant with an extremely rare name lived up to their expectations.

The politics student from Romford admitted he loves watching world sports events and explained he would use any winnings to attend the next World Athletics Championships.

Immediately, fans flocked to Twitter to point out the expectations that come with having that name as one exclaimed: "Success has a name to live up to!!!!" #TheChase."

"Wonder if Success lives up to his name. Watch this space #TheChase," echoed a second.

Andrew kicked off the episode and won £7,000 before going head to head with today's Chaser, Anne Hegerty.

The 66-year-old took the money back to the team comfortably as he failed to get a question wrong.

Next up was civil servant turned recipe tester Amy who secured a huge £9,000.

The 34-year-old was another who gave the Governess a run for her money, once again sailing through to the final chase.

Following in strong suit was Lincolnshire-born Jean who had no trouble reaching the next round with £6,000.

And after winning £7,000 in the cash builder, the 19-year-old Success took the group's total to £28,000.

They've answered 28 questions between them at speed, and there isn't a weak link," a worried Anne told host Bradley as she prepared to face the group in the final chase.

The team managed to get 22 correct and left the Governess with no hope as she ran out of time with 11 still to get.

Taking to social media, fans went wild that Success lived up to his name.

One user wrote: "Success by name success by nature #TheChase."

"That really was a Success #TheChase," penned a second as another added: "Success is really living up to his name!! What a quizzer! #TheChase."

While a fourth echoed: "Success was very successful. Bit corny I know. #TheChase."
